The Importance of HTML Tags in Web Development
Tags in HTML are just like any reserved keyword of any programming language. We can't use HTML tags randomly, as each tag has a specific function of its own. HTML tags are always enclosed in angle brackets <>, with a start tag to begin the HTML element and an end tag to mark the end of the element. These tags can contain attributes, which provide additional information about the element, such as color, size, and other properties.
Tags are mainly divided into two parts
Container tag: - These are the tags that have both start and end tags. For example: -
<html>.</html>,<p>..</p>...Empty tag: - These are the tags that come with only starting tag but no end tag. For example: -
<br>,<hr>,...
One of the most commonly used HTML tags is the paragraph tag,<p>, which defines a paragraph and contains the content of the paragraph between the start and end tags. By mastering HTML tags, web developers can create visually appealing and functional web pages that meet the needs of their users.
